Dr Sean O’Connor is a practitioner, researcher, and academic within the fields of organisational development, positive psychology leadership and systemic coaching. Sean’s research focuses on the influence of leadership coaching on the well-being of others within organisational networks and complex systems. As a practitioner Sean takes an evidence based analytical, collaborative, and solution-focused approach to supporting executives, senior leaders, and middle managers to develop and strengthen their leadership skills and adapt to organisational change through individual, group, team and organisational level interventions across a broad range of sectors.
As an Academic, Sean lectures and runs coaching research at the world renowned Coaching Psychology Unit at the University of Sydney, training and developing new Coaches as part of the Masters of Coaching Psychology program. Sean has published numerous book chapters, peer reviewed journals, and regularly speaks at international conferences winning numerous awards and prizes for his ground breaking research on the coaching ripple effect.
